The Millers have shifted almost 4,000 tickets for the New York Stadium and the boss showed his appreciation speaking to the clubs website.
''We need our supporters, we need the New York Stadium rocking with a great match atmosphere and our supporters are playing their part. I would like to offer a big thank you to every one of them, who despite these difficult times, have handed over their hard earned money to grab their seat", he said.
''I have said many times and I will say it again, without the supporters a football club has no soul, and it appears we certainly have a big soul. I have done my best to sign talented, proven but very committed footballers who have a real desire to get us promoted. I will continue to do so as I work hard to finish the squad with three quality signings which will finalise our squad for the new season.
"'United we will be successful, divided we will fail. There will be some who will do what they can to throw bombs into our camp but we must remain calm, lift them, defuse them and get on with the task in hand.
"We are all getting excited about the season ahead. If you have not purchased your season ticket then please do so, because we need as many Millers fans behind us as we can get.
"The stadium is simply brilliant, now let us fill it with a support who does our new home justice."
