The popular Dicko scored six goals in as many games for the Millers, but was recalled by Wigan at the start of the week due to injuries at the DW Stadium.
The youngster was disappointed to see his loan spell cut short and Evans is waiting to see if there is a chance that Dicko could return.
"You'd never say never about getting him back and we'll be following it closely because if he was to be going on loan again I know what his choice would be," said Evans speaking to The Star.
"Wigan have had a couple of injuries and are fully entitled to call him back. He's a top-class person and our chairman and his vice-chairman are fully aware of the situation and that we will always have interest. I would love to work with him again."
The 21 year-old was an unused substitute in yesterdays 0-0 draw with Burnley.
