Micky Cummins put the Millers infront after half time but John Grant's stoppage time penalty ensured tonight's replay at the DVS.
Rotherham boss Mark Robins will be hoping his side can bounce back from a 4-0 hammering at Gillingham on Saturday, and take advantage of The Shots' poor record on the road this season.
With the games still continuing to flow thick and fast, Robins has injury and suspension headaches ahead of the tie.
Drewe Broughton and Richie Barker will compete for a starting role. Ryan Taylor could come into contention for a place after coming on at Stoke in the Carling Cup defeat last Tuesday. However Danny Harruison misses out after his weekend red card with Mark Hudson set to come into midfield.
Reuben Reid has picked up his fifth booking of the season, but we believe his ban will be served this weekend against Bradford City leaving him free to play this evening.
Goalkeeper Andy Warrington will face a late fitness test on his shoulder injury, if he fails to make it then Steve Cann is set to deputise as we understand Jamie Annerson will not be involved on the say so of his parent club Sheff Utd.
Robbo told the press: "Andy Warrington's taken a knock to his shoulder. He's been to have an X-ray, and we'll look to give him a late fitness test. He's not definitely ruled out; things are looking positive on that front.
"Aldershot will be coming here having rescued themselves in the last minute in the first game and they will have a go.
"They are a game set of players but we want to ensure there is no mistake on this occasion. It's about time we got a bit of success in this competition having gone out at the first hurdle for so long now.
"We've had some good cup nights so far and everyone wants us to have another one."
Shots boss Gary Waddock saw his side beat Exeter 1-0 on Saturday, but is missing Danny Hylton and the cup-tied Andy Sandell.
