Facey's happy to stay.
"I've got another year on my contract so it's just a case of sitting down and discussing where we go from here, I'm open-minded and you have to be in this game. I might want to stay but the club might want me to leave, and vice versa. That's part and parcel of football. Nobody has said anything to me. as yet and as far as I'm concerned I'm contracted to Rotherham United and a Rotherham United player until told otherwise." Facey told todays Rotherham Advertiser.
Facey then spoke about the gaffer's influence on him and his upturn in form since Robbo took over. "Because the manager was a striker, he's well up with forward play and I can learn a lot more from him."
"I have a more understanding relationship with him, I've noticed over the years working under different people that if you have an ex-centre-forward manager he tends to work more on the attacking play and those who were defenders work more on defence, particularly in the lower leagues."

"Mark scored goals for fun in his time. He's been there and done it at a high level. If I can take on board just a percentage of what he's done then I can hopefully get better and do alright for myself. I think I've been getting in the box more often and working the wings as well. It's just a pity I can't get on the end of my own crosses! I think I'll have to work on my fitness so I can get to them." he joked.
"That 19-match run with only one win killed our season, People look at what's gone on more recently and say that if only we had won this game or that game then we might have been OK, but the damage was done in those 19 games. We know we're relegated now. What we've got to do is go out and get the six points in the last two games to make sure that if it wasn't for the ten points penalty then we'd still be in League One."
"It's a matter of knuckling down and being professional and going out and giving it 100 per cent. At the end of the season we'll sit down and have a chat and discuss where we go from there." he added while looking forward to the remaining two games.
