The Millers dipped to a 2-1 defeat, all but ending our hopes of reaching the play-offs.
Talking in the 'Tiser Wood said; "It is disappointing for the supporters, but it is for everyone. We are out there and we don't mean to lose and hearing the fans say 'what a load of rubbish' isn't going to help us. We need all the support we can get.
“We knew Saturday would be tough because Oxford are going for the play-offs, and when you hear the fans chanting, it is not what you need. We need encouragement, but that's football for you."
Woods is with the Millers until the summer when his loan deal comes to an end, but he is he is looking to the present rather than the future.
“I'm here until the end of the season and we'll take it from there. The new stadium would be nice to play in but we'll concentrate on now first.” he said.
