Nick spoke to the official site after signing the deal and looked back at a busy season.

"The new deal will keep me at the club for another two years which is fantastic. I feel I have done well this season and the Gaffer did say that if things went well he would reward me, so he has kept his promise."

"I have kept free from injury and suspension this season and as a result I have played 56 games, To play that amount of games is a big achievement because I don't think that there are many players who can say that they have started 56 games in a row, so I am really pleased with that."

"The win at Sheffield Wednesday was special and then to beat Leeds, Wolves and Leicester was fantastic and they will always stay in the memory, We would have comfortably made the play-offs this season if it wasn't for the points deduction so next season we need to be looking at promotion." he added.

After signing a new contract to stay with the Millers for another 2 years, Nick Fenton looks to next season and promotion is the aim.
