Fenton - I'm used to this divison.

The 28 year old has played most of his football in the lower leagues, and tells todays 'Tiser what he can deliver for the Millers.

"I'm 28 (29 this month) and have played league football for ten years now as a regular, You know what you're going to get in the lower divisions. You get big centre forwards coming at you. It's all rush and tumble and elbows flying-but I'm used to that." he said

"I get my fair share of goals. I'm not the biggest built centre half ever-I'm 6ft 2in and twelveand-a-half stone, so I'm not a big bruising type-but I'm decent in the air and fairly good on the ball; a mixed player really."

"I talked to Mark Robins over the summer and nothing came of it but then last week he got back in touch and said he wanted something to happen,"

"I was transfer-listed by Grimsby this summer after playing 44 games last season. It was a bit of a surprise but that happens in football sometimes and
you've got to move on. I played in both league games against Rotherham and the JP Trophy match last season and all three were tight."

"I knew what Rotherham were all about. I also knew the points situation before I came and I was happy to sign. Regardless of all that, there's a great squad here and some good additions. Obviously, it helps with Luton and Bournemouth having points knocked off because we've a fighting chance anyway, but I've every confidence we can claw back the points and climb the table as well."

Robins was pleased to get his man after Graham Coughlan joined Shrewsbury; "He's settled in really well. He's good in the dressing room and the supporters will like him, I'm looking forward to him forging a partnership at the heart of the defence."

"We lost Graham Coughlan and needed to replace that experience and Fenton has a lot of football under his belt. He'll be a threat in both penalty areas. He'll win things for us and clear it out and see off the danger and at the other end he'll go and attack things."

"He was a threat against us last season and I'm looking forward to working with him." he added.
