"It was a great performance by the lads, Southampton are a very good Championship side and they play some good football but I thought that we handled them very well. We dominated the game from the first whistle and we looked like the only team that was going to win it."
Nick looked ahead to this weekends game at Dagenham & Redbridge; "The match on Saturday will be a completely different game, It is a League Two fixture so we are expecting it to be more of a battle but we will have a little rest then start advanced preparations for that game on Thursday." he said.
