Fleming departs

One of Alan Knill's final signings, Fleming (right) arrived at Millmoor on a two year deal in January from Norwich City. Although brought in to add experience to the defence, Fleming was unable to contribute much to a Millers' side which succombed to relegation.

Speaking to todays Rotherham Star, Millers boss Mark Robins said; "We spoke in the close season and he wasn't really part of my plans, But I will say that Craig is a good example to all and someone who works hard and he has not been a minute's problem,"

"Rather than mess him about, it was best that he moved on and looked to get a game elsewhere rather than playing in the reserves." added Mark.
