Football League Show to continue on Beeb

Some shows over the festive period had to be cut from our screens due to lack of funding, but fears for the future of the programme are now over after a deal was reached for it to continue in it's Saturday night slot following Match of the Day on BBC1.
League Chief Commercial Officer Richard Heaselgrave told the Football League website: "In a short period of time The Football League Show has become an institution amongst fans of our 72 clubs.
"More than a million tune in every week for the comprehensive coverage the show delivers. We are therefore delighted that it will be continuing for a further three seasons."
