Fleetwood struck on 32 minutes after a scrappy half hour on a bobbly surface, with Rovers kicking down the slope with the wind. The Millers failed to clear an inswinging corner and after confusion with 'keeper Andy Warrington and his defence, Fleetwood poked home from close range.
Rotherham came back into proceedings with a sucession of corners and Graham Coughlan's header was cleared off the line as Ryan Taylor and Pablo
Mills blasted over the top from decent positions, before Fleetwood struck again in first half stoppage time, leaving the Millers defence static to round Warrington and slot home into the empty net.
Mills was replaced by Hurst as Mark Robins switched to 4-4-2 and it paid dividens with a bright 15 minutes, before the side pulled a goal back. Steve Brogan was tripped in the area by Darren Jones as he cut in from the left, and despatched the penalty himself on 57 minutes despite home 'keeper Robinson getting a hand to his drilled shot.
Fleetwood then mised out on his hat-trick after a smart turn and shot saw Warrington palm his effort onto the foot of the post, before O'Grady had the final say as he fired home infront of the Millers fans who spilled onto the pitch in jubilation.
