The 30 year-old has previously played at Bolton, Peterborough, Oldham and Falkirk before he moved back South last year.
Boss Ronnie Moore told the clubs website: "We've been trying all week to get a full back in. I know alot about Dean having worked with him at Oldham. He's experienced and I'm delighted to get him."
