The 25 year-old 6ft 6inch fomer Kettering defender watched the Millers friendly game at Tamworth on Saturday and has been in talks with the club over a move to DVS.
The defender is on the transfer list at London Road and joins to ease the Millers injury crisis ahead of Saturday's opener with Lincoln City.
Geohaghon is unable to play for the Millers in their game at the Posh in the Carling Cup on August 10th.
