Manager Moore has now had time to cast his eye over the players he has to hand, and speaking to the Advertiser today he said: "What looked a comfortable job three weeks ago gives you a little bit of a headache when you look at it now,"
Moore added; "We've a good bunch of players but one or two aren't ruthless enough and I might have to do something about it. I'm not worried facing Notts County this weekend because I know the players will turn up for that game. The thing that worries me is that we went to Northampton and didn't perform particularly well. We played Hereford and should have bombed them out of sight.
"It does frustrate you and when you look how the other results went last weekend, it's another sickener, but if we learn from it then it's a blessing in disguise.
"I watched the Barnet game. We battered them but I also remember that they could have scored two goals in that game. They didn't go in that day but at this moment we're making a blunder and getting punished for it. We've got to learn. One of the centre-halves made a wrong decision last Saturday. He should have cleared the ball instead of leaving it to someone else and Hereford capitalised.
"I thought we were like pussy cats in both boxes. There were some magnificent balls in from set plays but no-one got on the end of them.
"Adam Le Fondre can finish, that's for sure. He needs to work a bit harder and that will come, but the two strikers have got to link up better.
"Tom Pope has got to learn—he was a little bit naive in one or two things he did last Saturday, although I accept the lad is still learning his trade."
