Gilchrist's Derby Day Reaction

Talking to the official site after yesterday's disappointment, the centre-half commented: "The equaliser was a disappointment coming as late as it did, I actually thought we had held out for a win as in the second half I felt we looked really comfortable.
"Neil Cutler made a couple of good saves in the first half but once we had held out to 90 minutes I didn't think they looked like scoring. Then we had a dubious decision for what we thought was a foul on David Worrell that wasn't given that led to their goal. Even then Cutts made a great save but it summed up our luck when the ball fell to their lad. But we played very well in the first half when we looked high in confidence and the atmosphere made a big difference. Our fans were great and the boys responded to it.
"What we needed was a second goal as when you go two up it relaxes a few people. The last two performances have seen us create chances and we haven't looked like conceding goals. We will now go to Bristol City full of confidence."
