Greer, 26, has been a fixture in the Rugby Park club's defence since 2003, but is out of contract and considering his options. He has been offered a fresh deal by Killie manager Jim Jeffries and has not ruled out staying with the SPL outfit, but having recently married into an English family, a move south of the border would suit him.
At 6' 2" and 13 stone, Greer fits the profile of the experienced, strong central defensive leader that many Millers fans feel the side needs. Of course, that type of player is much in demand and the BBC reports that Greer has also had offers from Darlington and Oldham Athletic.
Greer has spent the vast majority of his career in Scotland, starting out with Clyde in 2000, but has some experience of the English leagues, having been at Blackburn and Stockport (although he only made 1 start for Blackburn and 4 for Stockport).
