"I enjoyed my time at Rotherham and I'm looking forward to it." Harford said, despite being sacked after just 9 months in the job and seeing his pay off dissapear when the club went into administration.
"I'm looking forward to the game. I enjoyed my time there. We started very well in the season I was at Rotherham and played some excellent football but then we hit a sticky patch and it was one of those things-sometimes you get on a bad run and you can't get out of it." he added.
"I brought in two or three decent players and some turned out to be assets for the club and they helped bring in money at a tough time. They were difficult circumstances. At another time, things might have turned out differently for me."
Harford now finds himself in another pickle with Luton who were docked 30 points in the summer for financial regularities.
"I think a salary cap should be introduced to stop clubs spending beyond their means, Luton has been mis-managed over the last two or three years and has lived beyond its means." Hardford said.
"I think we've been hard done by especially by the Football Association and the Football League but as a group and as a club we've got to take it on the chin and move forward. It's been difficult recruiting players at times, as I'm sure Rotherham have found, but there's players in both teams who can play at a higher level and we've both had decent starts."
"It's a monumental task facing both Luton, Bournemouth and Rotherham but we're starting even further behind. As I've said before, looking at our situation here, the players can become legends by keeping Luton in the Football League. It would be that big an achievement."
He went on to give Robbo a pat on the back; "Mark Robins is a good lad, He worked with the youth team when I was there and he was always forward thinking on the training ground. I'm delighted for him and I'm sure he will go on to do well."
