The man whose CV includes a £3.5 million move from Chelsea lo Fulham during his younger days turned 32 last month and needs games.
And the Notts County loanee, here for an initial month, says he's got plenty left in the tank.
"Fitness wise it's good for me and it's important to be out there playing football. I'll lake the month, see what happens and just lake it from there.
"I feel as fit as anything and I've not been injured for a long time. Speaking lo the manager, he's got me and Guy Branston in for a bit more experience at the back and hopefully we can build some bridges and start locking down and keeping some clean sheets."
Scott himself added: "Guy has good banler and gets involved with Ihe lads and lightens the mood when he needs to. Jon has played at a higher level and plays with a smile on his face; the experience he has got rubs off on Ihe others as well."
