"I've seen a few lads in the gym and I think that everyone is itching to get back into training, We have a home fixture to start with, which is what we wanted. We got off to a flier last season with a home game against Lincoln so we will be looking for the same again.
"We also got a good draw at home against Derby in the Carling Cup so hopefully we can go on another cup run similar to last year."
Danny is pleased with the new players signed so far by boss Mark Robins during the close season; "Nicky Law played against us for Bradford last season and he was one of the best players on the pitch, He caused us all sorts of problems so he can only be a good addition to the side. Kevin Ellison is a good mate of mine from my Tranmere days and he will give us some steel as well as having an eye for goal that we need." he said
