The Alex head to Millmoor on the back of a good performance against Manchester United in the Carling Cup, taking the holders to extra time.

Boss Dario Gradi was pleased with their overall display, saying: "I feel satisfied. I asked for a memorable game and I got it, there is no doubt about that. Probably that bit better quality meant they scored and we didn't but in terms of creating chances we probably created more and given as good as we've got."

The Millers will certainly have to keep an eye on front pair Luke Varney and Nicky Maynard (pictured right). In form Maynard, 19, has 11 goals in just 13 starts for the visitors whilst Varney, 24, netted Crewe's leveller last night.

Gradi has a few players back from injury too and in line for a return on Saturday are Rodney Jack and Luke Rodgers. Teenage full back Billy Jones is still sidelined with an achilles problem whilst Lee Bell is a doubt also. Jon Otsemobor and Julien Baudet make a return to their former club.

Alan Knill has a clean bill of health apart from Gregor Robertson who may be out upto another week, Dave Hibbert and Justin Cochrane return to the squad after missing the win at Bournemouth. Whether Knill will continue with the same side is unclear at the moment, with Ian Sharps also back in contention after his one game suspension.
