Head2Head & Early Team News - MK Dons

Last updated : 04 May 2006 By Deano
Everything is riding on this game for the Millers and the Dons so we'll cut the waffle and get straight into it.

Having signed a two year contract extension today, gaffer Alan Knill is hoping to select from an injury-free squad. He may opt for a few selection changes if he decides to be more positive by bringing in Andy Monkhouse or Will Hoskins from the off.
50/50
Other than Paul McLaren struggling to be fit for Saturday it's as you were from last week's poor display at Colchester. It is hoped McLaren will be ok to take his place, he told the official site: "We will be looking for a win even though a draw would be enough for us to survive."

Our visitors have a few injury worries in midfield and are missing Alex Tapp and Nicky Rizzo, although manager Danny Wilson returns to South Yorkshire boosted by the returning Wade Small and Malvin Kamara who scored against the Millers in the 1-1 draw in October.

McLeod
The Dons have won their last three on the spin away from the National Hockey Stadium, Gareth Edds will hope to feature after netting the late winner at Chesterfield whilst the dangerman is striker Izzy McLeod. Dean Lewington has been their shining light this campaign, the ginger haired full back and son of ex-Watford gaffer Ray has been voted the player of the year by an ever-increasing Dons fan base.

Best of luck to the Millers and we'll leave you chewing your nails and having a look at the head2head, of course the majority when MK were formerly known as Wimbledon.
