Head2Head & JP Trophy team news - Grimsby

The Millers will be looking to build on Saturday's win over Mansfield, who incidently they disposed of in round one of this competition last month.

With a game at Brentford on the horizon this Friday night though, boss Mark Robins is set to make a few changes.

Of course he has to field a side with his six most regular players from the season so far in the starting line up, but likely candidates for a start are loanee defender Ryan Cresswell and there could well be a full debut for striker Tom Cahill, as well as a recall for Chris O'Grady (pictured right).

Robins could also give one of his midfielders a breather to make room for the three man attack.

Our visitors have a doubt over former Millers 'keeper Phil Barnes, which could see another more recent old face line up for the Mariners in Gary Montgomery. If Monty starts it will be his first team debut since his release from Millmoor in the summer.

Boss Alan Buckley also has doubts over midfielder James Hunt and striker Isiah Rankin (left). Peter Bore is carrying a slight knock from last weeks reserve game but should be ok after being named as substitute in the weekend loss at Peterborough.

Paul Bolland came through the same game unscathed after a shin problem and should be fit to start.
