Head2Head & Team News - Accrington Stanley

It's the Millers first trip to Accrington Stanley for over 55 years this coming Saturday, and while the Millers look to extend thier winning run to 5 league games, boss Mark Robins has a couple of injury problems affecting his squad.

Speaking to Radio Sheffield, Robins revealed that Andy Todd and Ian Sharps have both been suffering with a bug. Todd will be fighting to face his old team where he won player of the season for last season, "The manager's probably going to pick the same side because he's got 12 points from 12. He does know that I can bring something to the team in games like this." Todd told Radio Sheffield.

However while Robbo understands Todd's desperation to play, he will be looking at the whole squad; "Sentiment doesn't come into it, My intention is to pick a side capable of winning this particular game. If that entails playing a certain player or players, then I will do. Anyway, whatever side I pick, it isn't just about those 11 it is about the squad. We only have a small squad and there are a lot of games coming up and there is likely to be the chance for a number of those players to be involved. The key is to be ready when the chance comes." he told the Star.

Ryan Taylor is back training after picking up a knock against Forest Green Rovers on Sunday and should be fit to play.

Accy will be looking to get on winning ways after losing a 2 goal lead over Huddersfield Town in last weekends FA Cup tie to lose 3-2.
