With the postponement of last weeks game against Oldham, the Millers have had time to stew over the 4-0 defeat against Chesterfield.

However boss Alan Knill is in upbeat mood and is looking positive to the crunch game. Speaking to the club official website He said: "Hopefully that 4-0 defeat against Chesterfield is well out of the way now although when something like that happens what you need is to have another game straight away to get it out of your system.

"All week in training the players have been very positive as they have been since I took over and the reaction from that last 4-0 scoreline has been really good. So we have to go to Blackpool and perform as we know we can although it's a different Blackpool team from the one we beat at home earlier in the season."

Knill will be without the influential midfielder Lee Williamson as he sits this game out suspended, Scott Minto is still injured however Michael Keane could come back after playing an hour in this weeks reserve game.

Tangerines caretaker boss Simon Grayson has a massive carrot dangling in front of him. Should he be able to keep the Bloomfield rd club up, then he will get the managers job on a permanant basis.

However he has an injury crisis and will be missing a eight players tomorrow, Marc Joseph, Sean Taylor and Ciaron Donnelly (hamstring),Danny Coid (ankle),Phil Doughty (leg), Keith Lasley (Knee), Marcus Bean (suspension) are all out.

There could well be a generous flashing of cards, the referee for the game is Peter Walton who this season has reffed 32 games, 9 of them in the premiership, and has showed over 100 cards, 5 of them red.
