It goes without saying that Chesterfield have been somewhat of a bogey team for Rotherham over the last few decades, but we'll be looking for the double this Saturday after Martin Butler's goal at Saltergate gave us our first three points of the season way back in August. I'm sure those there remember it well, slightly wet wouldn't you say?!

Moving on to on the field matters, the Millers have mixed news ahead of the game. Michael Keane is back training again and will be included in the squad after missing out at Swindon last week with an ankle injury. He will battle for the central spot in the middle alongside Stephen Quinn with Paul McLaren, as Lee Williamson misses the next two games after picking up his 10th booking. Jonathon Forte is 50/50 after receiving another setback with a kick on the ankle but hopefully he'll be ok.

MillersMad would like to wish Steve Brogan a speedy recovery after the young lad broke his ankle in the midweek reserves draw with Sheffield United, he's set to be out for 6 to 8 weeks.

Our opponents Chesterfield sit in 8th spot in the division but haven't had a great run of late. They will be without goalkeeper Barry Roche who is out with a thigh injury, losing his 100% record this season. Roy McFarland will keep his cards close to his chest as to team selection after a few niggles. An appeal to overturn the dismissal of Janos Kovacs against Southend last week has been unsuccessful so the defender is definately absent.

Chesterfield fans will be able to purchase raffle tickets at the Railway End on Saturday to win a signed shirt, at a pound a strip the proceeds go into our campaign.
