League Two
Morecambe FC v
Rotherham United

29 March 2008, Christie Park 3pm

With the recent 10 point deduction and a collapse in the final 10 minutes against
Rochdale saw the Millers lose 4-1 and therefore the Millers head to Christie Park on Saturday sitting in 12th place in League 2. Morecambe who stand one place, and two points above the Millers, will still have a distant dream of finishing in the last play off place. They currently sit 6 points behind 7th placed Chesterfield. Therefore with a victory on Saturday, they may see a push for the play off's a real possibility. The Millers are looking for a first win since entering administration for the 2nd time in two years, and with talks still on going with property giant Anthony McMullen, they head to Lancashire looking to send a message of intent on the pitch.

There have been many rumours of players departing Millmoor, however Graham Coughlan should line up as captain on Saturday as usual, with Pablo Mills partnering him at centre back, with Ian Sharps still carrying a hernia which will see him ruled out for almost the rest of the whole campaign. After scoring against Rochdale, Marc Joseph should slot into left back as usual.

Millers manager has an interesting decision to make regarding his front line, with 6 strikers to choose from, and seemingly nothing to play for, we wait to see whether the Millers opt for a different approach to Saturday's game.

Morecambe go into the game after a 2-2 draw against high flying Darlington at the Darlington Arena, however Morecambe gave away a 2-0 lead to only draw, which leaves them sitting in in 11th place in League 2. The man to watch will be Carl Baker who has 10 goals to his name this season. Morecambe will line up with former Millers defender David Artell at centre back. Artell who made 38 appearances for the Millers, moved to Morecambe in 2007, and has played 33 times this season for the Shimpers. Here's the head to head.
