Alan Knill's men head into the game knowing it's crucial to get back to winning ways, whilst Vale will hope to make a charge for the play off positions this weekend as they lay in 8th place.


knill may contemplate changes to his line up, as we reported yesterday. Colin Murdock is in the squad after coming through two reserve games within the week, whilst Dave Hibbert is also included. However it's 50/50 whether he will take part from the off. Delroy Facey isn't included as the game comes too soon for him following surgery, however he is back in full training.

Foyle

Vale boss Martin Foyle must do without defender Michael Husbands who was red carded at Nottingham Forest, and sits out the second of his three game suspension. Foyle is hopeful of extending the loan perod of Hartlepool striker Richie Humphreys after the weekend, and has also secured an extension to Stefan Moore's loan from Aston Villa. Moore netted in last weeks win at Northampton Town. Boss Foyle said of tomorrow's game: "This is a big game for us, if we can get all three points, that will put us right on the coat tails of the top five or six."
