League Two Rotherham United v Port Vale 26 December 2008, DVS, 3pm

The Millers line up to face a Port Vale side in shocking form tomorrow, with four defeats in the last six, a worst run than Rotherham themselves.

Without a league win at DVS since the 4-1 thumping of Grimsby, making it two on the spin in the league is the main aim after last Saturday's 3-1 win at Accrington, regardless of performance.

Mark Robins recalled strikers Richie Barker and Mark Burchill (right) in that game, and the latter should expect to keep his place after netting a brace.

Drewe Broughton (left) could replace Barker though after coming off the bench and scoring the third.

David Stockdale will continue in goal and Mark Lynch is fit again but unlikely to be involved, Pablo Mills is still a few weeks from fitness.

Vale boss Dean Glover is without skipper Marc Richards, who was red carded against Chesterfield and starts a three match suspension.

Joe Anyon will be recalled between the sticks after being passed fit, so Chris Martin drops to the bench.

Midfield man Simon Richman is doubtful with a ankle injury.

Glover told BBC Stoke: "We need to turn performances into results quickly if we are to have any chance of getting near the play-offs.

"Rotherham have got out of the trouble they were in and have a good side but we do have a chance of getting a result there. They've got some young players and a bit of experience too, they are a good side."

The Millers are set to reveal their new club mascot ahead of the game and matchday programmes are reduced to just £1.50 each.
