Marcus Bean is available to take part after getting clearance from Blackpool, but will probably start from the bench once again with Steve Brogan continuing in midfield.
Elsewhere Tom Cahill is still a while away from action after knee surgery and Mark Hudson is out for six weeks with an achilles injury. Mark Robins may decide to tinker his strike force but it's expected Chris O'Grady and Derek Holmes will be the starting pair.
Brian Laws has ex-Miller Deon Burton available again for visitors Wednesday. The 30 year old scored 14 goals in 27 games for the Millers before his move to S6 two seasons ago and makes his first return to Millmoor. It should be a spicey affair.
Chris Brunt has completed his £3m move to West Brom, but Laws is unlikely to see much of the cash to strenghten his squad which is looking to bounce back from a weekend 4-1 thumping at Ipswich Town.
