Partridge returns?

They will aim to do that against Gillingham with the news that Justin Cochrane is back available again following injury. Richie Partridge is also back in contention after he has recovered from illness and injury and may take his place back in the starting XI.

The rest of the team is likely to be selected from the squad that slumped to a disappointing home defeat to Bournemouth last weekend and know that two defeats over the bank holiday weekend may well condemn them to a second relagation in three years.

Gillingham travel to South Yorkshire aiming to avenge a 3-0 defeat at Millmoor last season and are boosted by the news that Mark Bentley is available again after a one game suspension.

Defender Duncan Jupp misses out with a groin strain but Michael Flynn and Matty Jarvis both will undergo fitness tests ahead of the game.

Loanee stopper Romain Larrieu looks set to continue between the sticks as the Gills strive for a mid table finish and boss Ronnie Jepson has seemingly been reading the default text on Rotherham ahead of the trip up north: "We are going to have to roll our sleeves up at Rotherham otherwise we will be turned over. It will be a physical game and we will have to defend and then get it down and play." Jepson told Gillingham's official site.
