Head2head and early team news- Oldham (a)

The home side sit in 8^th spot in League one, with the Millers picking up the same amount of points but sitting bottom for reasons we are all well aware of. Depending on results tomorrow we could get off the foot of the table, as mangerless Millwall sit only a point above, sacking gaffer Nigel Spackman this morning.

Tomorrow's game will see Oldham try to take maximum points off Rotherham for the first time since 1982/83, and the signs look good for Alan Knill's men after a fine win at the weekend and a record of five wins in the last five against tomorrow's opponents.

However Oldham go into the game after thumping Gillingham 4-1, and will probably name a similar if not unchanged line up. Fit again Chris Hall returned to the bench at the weekend, whilst Paul Edwards, former Miller Chris Swaies and loanee ‘keeper David knight remain long term casualties. Paul Warne should continue to partner in form Chris Porter in attack.

Alan Knill may tinker with his side, particularly in midfield. The back five should remiain the same but Richie Partridge and Eugen Bopp are pushing for a return, and it's likely that at least one of them will come into the side as the club near the end of a hectic schedule of fixtures. Justin Cochrane may be rested whilst Dave Hibbert should be fit despite coming off at Orient clutching his nose.
