Head2Head and Early Team News- Yeovil (h)

Last updated : 08 December 2005 By Millersmad Staff
The Millers will not only be chasing the vital three points but also seeking revenge for being embarrassingly dumped out of the FA Cup by Yeovil last season, when the teams were two divisions apart. Their quest will be boosted by a potential return of Michael Keane following a four week absence due to a combination of suspension and injury. Keane came through a midweek reserve match and with Andy Monkhouse’s sore knee still troubling him, the Irishman may be thrown straight back in, though one of Paul Evans, Lee Williamson, John Mullin or Paul McLaren would have to make way.
Return?

Will Hoskins was an absentee from the reserves last night so it looks as if the dead leg that kept him out of the defeat against Swindon last weekend will get the better of him again. Skipper Colin Murdock is set to play despite having to have stitches in his head following a gash, though is his expected to wear a head bandage. The Ulsterman's inclusion will be a boost to the Millers as they will be missing Murdock's deputy, Phil Gilchrist as he is still being bothered by a persistant toe injury.

Meanwhile, Yeovil who before last year's FA Cup tie had never met the Millers, meet them for the third time in a year and will have to do without first choice keeper, Chris Weale, who was sent off in their midweek defeat at Brentford. The Glovers are also waiting on Colin Miles who missed their midweek trip to the capital with a thigh injury so Nathan Jones is on standyby to deputise again.

The West Country men will be hoping start striker Phil Jevons will be able to add to his six goals as they aim to stretch away from the bottom six but a Rotherham win will see them go level with Steve Thompson's team on 22 points.
