Hot-Shot Bobby still in line for Millers hotseat?

The former Kilmarnock and Plymouth manager's name will be one of the topics on discussion at tomorrow's board meeting before the game at Bristol City.

The Millers board have kept discussions private and not made any announcements on any of the speculation, however last week chairman Peter Ruchniewicz told the official site that talks with one manager had broken down due to reasons beyond their control.

They had hoped to have had a new man in place before Christmas, but are now looking at getting the managers role filled by the Millers trip to Bournemouth on January 14th.

Todays star states that Williamson has some contractual matters to sort out with Plymouth where he was sacked in September.

Meanwhile, Deon Burton's transfer request will also be on the agenda. Burton is a transfer target for Wednesday and another club the star reports.

Rumours are that the grunters have offered just £75k for the striker, if that is so lets hope the board laugh in their face.

Burton scored his 14th of the season on Boxing day after being greeted by a mix of boo's and cheers by the Millmoor crowd.
