The 25 year old told the 'Tiser; “I’ve done my time in League Two.”
Despite having a year left on his contract with the Millers but it seems he's hoping for a summer move; “I’m here next season as far as I know. I’m more than happy to be here but I want to play higher and everyone knows that. It doesn’t thrill me playing in this division."
“I think I deserve to play higher and I think I’ve done my time in League Two. I’ve scored goals in this division consistently and if I’m here next season then I’ll probably score 25 goals again. We’ll just see what happens.”
However boss Andy Scott has Alfies work planned out as if he's staying; “As far as I’m concerned he will be getting a fitness programme to work through the summer. He will come back for pre-season like everyone else who has time left on their contract..”
