I have to have commitment - Stewart
"If you was a betting man you'd think the odds are for him to go. The deal's not done yet but I think it will happen. I was shocked initially but having time to ponder and look what sometimes adversity brings opportunity, if it is the case that Mark Robins leaves Rotherham we can look for another manager."
"I'd like to say, when you play for Rotherham United it's your heart, your soul and its your head and I have to have total commitment, thats my commitment, the team today showed their commitment and I just have to have it."
Asked if Robins was looking to take his backroom staff should he move to Oakwell; "I've heard one or two rumours that maybe there may be one or two may be going but again we'll have to see."
"We've already recieved 10 managers applying for the job and theres some good calibre managers there and we'll take our time on that one. We're looking to class, we're looking for experience. They've got to have a good CV, a good track record and be able to work well with the team of directors."
Asked if he was describing former manager Ronnie Moore, Tony replied with; "Well Ronnie's got a good CV and knows a bit about Rotherham United and I'm sure him along with others, will have an opportunity to prove themselves and we will look at them very seriously."
"I think its probably going to be a couple of weeks, I want to allow, we all assume we're going to get to know about Mark Robins leaving soon, so on that footing I would say we will allow people to have a chance to apply for the job and I'm going to take my time because I think preperation is very important and I think the outcome is a better outcome.
Asked what would happen if Robins should take his backroom staff; "We have a contingenies but I wouldn't like to say what at the moment but we're confident we have the contingencies. Rotherham United's got a lot of professional people on the pitch and off the pitch and we're ambitous and have the three year plan is in place. You saw today what we can do on the pitch and I know whats happening off the pitch, so we are in a fit shape and I'm looking forward to the future."
Tony was then asked who would decide on the new manager; "It will be me and the directors, and thats important. I like a crossview, I want people who can judge with experiance and it will be a panel of people who check and look at the calibre of the next manager."
"I think its exciting times for the fans, I said that when I came to Rotherham - Don't talk it, lets see it happen on the pitch. Big investments have gone, I'm prepared and I'm not leaving Rotherham United, I'm here for good."
"There's still a lot to do but its happening quick, it had to happen quick. I don't want a ten year apprenticeship, the three year plan's on target and I'll look forward to welcoming the new potential manager should Mark Robins leave." he added
