At 33 yrs old Andy is looking to continue for another 4 seasons, and double his 100 appearances for the Millers. Andy this week spoke to the Tiser saying:
"I'm proud to get to 100 and it's quick to have got there in two-and-a-quarter seasons. I think I missed eight league games this time last year. "I played about 240 games at Donny and, touch wood, hopefully there's plenty more mileage in me to get many more here. "I actually feel fitter now than three-and-a-half years ago, just before I broke my leg while at Donny, when I had a good couple of seasons there with the promotions. "It took me a while to recover. I had a spell at Bury and that was great for me but I'm settled and happy here. "I look forward to every day, whether that be training or a game. I absolutely love it and I think that at 33 hopefully I've got at least another four seasons left in me."
Andy feels the game at Torquay, played in atrocious conditions, could well be the game to be looked back on come the end of the season.
"It wasn't a polished performance but I hope we can look back in May and think, that three points down at Torquay has got us somewhere."They are fighting for their lives and threw a lot at us. Sometimes this season we've gone under with a bit of pressure. For what reason I don't know. "This time we dug in like we have in the past. Balls were getting played in and they were getting blocked and people were putting their bodies on the line. "We have to take positives from it."
