Despite being sidelined until Christmas with injury the centre half was offered new terms yesterday with his short term contract up in January, and he was more than happy to sign a new deal.
“In terms of settling in here, I have loved it. The lads are great in the dressing room, I am enjoying coming into work and it has been like a breath of fresh air for me to play again,” he explained.
“I think I said in my first interview here that I really wanted to be part of what was happening. There were other clubs expressing an interest in me at the time but I chose Rotherham over those clubs because of what I thought the club had to offer and it has not let me down.
“The stadium speaks for itself, the Chairman is backing the club and everybody wants the same thing so hopefully we will get that come the end of the season.”
