Talking to the Star, 25 year old Wood say's he has to play better; “I was not very good on the ball on Saturday. It was an off day but you have those in football. I need to do better. I worked hard for the team but I wasn’t great on the ball."
“In the games before, I thought I had played well and had done all right so I just need to get back on the training ground and work hard.”
Wood who has been with the Millers since November would like to stay with the Millers; “If the manager is happy with me, he will offer me something. I am happy to be up here at the moment. I’ve enjoyed playing regular first-team football. The lads and the backroom staff have been fantastic with me. Now I just want to play better than I did in the last game and help the team as much as I possibly can.”
“There has been no talk. I will worry about that at the end of the season.” he added.
