Reflecting on his debut at Dagenham last weekend, the Palace loanee, here for the season, spoke to the Advertiser.
“It was a good game with a good tempo; not that different to the Championship to be honest. I was just peed off the game got nicked from us, but it happens.
“It was back and forth, back and forth, back and forth, but I think I did well. I want loads of game time here and hopefully I'll get better as they go on. The manager believes in me so I want to prove him right. I'm quick, I've a good delivery and I can get goals as well so hopefully I can show all that.”
He adds: "I've still got hopes at Palace. I'm doing this for myself, the fans, Dougie Freedman; there are so many people I'm trying to do well for and it always spurs me on. Dougie has been very supportive. He's let me come here to show what I can do, plus I want to help push Rotherham up and get myself back on the radar."
Boss Andy Scott added: “His delivery from set pieces was excellent. He was direct and he understands the game and I was very pleased with him. He played for Palace against Blackpool the previous Saturday but before that he has only been playing reserve team football. Generally he lasted well and it was pleasing he could come into the side and show he has got talent.”
