"I've been employing people 37 years in business and if anyone expressed a desire to leave then I would never stand in anyone's way, but Mark has a job to do here and we're moving forward.
"Personally I'll be amazed if Mark wasn't the manager here at the weekend."
On the stadium front, Stewart could confirm little but was set to meet council officials today, and added: "We've looked at around 20 sites thus far and I thank the council for all their help and co-operation.
"I have a meeting with them tomorrw (2nd) to try and move things along swiftly but cannot say anymore at this stage.
"We're trying to be as forthcoming to the fans as possible."
