After starting on the right wing but switching midway through the first half, Ellison says he's happy to just be in the thick of the action.
He explained: "To be honest, it's just great to be in the squad. If that means the gaffer wants me to play on the right, then I'm more than happy to do that.
"It was good to get two goals, but the three points was more important, after two bad results," he added.
"I always get a bit of stick there, and I'd been hit with a few sweets, so that's why I probably over celebrated a bit. As for the cheerleading after the game, I knew their fans weren't happy with me, so it was just a bit of banter to get our fans going.
"It's going to be a tough game against Dagenham. They're up there, but we're at home so we'll just be looking to go at them and hopefully get another win", said the fans favourite.
