“I’m delighted to get the chance to stay at the club for another two years,” Revs revealed after signing on the dotted line this morning at the NYS.
“It was a no-brainer due to what’s happening at the club with it being an exciting time. I’ve had great support while I’ve been here and I’m obviously delighted to get the chance to extend my stay here. Hopefully we can get the club back to where it belongs, which we’ll do by getting into the next league and hopefully doing the same again the following year.
“You play football to play in atmospheres like Tuesday night in Bradford because that was amazing. As I’ve said before it’s such an exciting time to be at this football club as a result of what the chairman and manager have built here.
“We’ve got some really gifted players here and playing alongside someone like Nards who has got 20 goals this year I believe he’s got to be considered one of the best in the league. Kieran Agard's also come in and done a good job in the last couple of games but we’ve also got Kayode who is a great asset to the club as well.”
Boss Steve Evans added to the news: “I’m absolutely delighted that Alex has agreed to extend his time with us. Since I arrived, the lad has been outstanding. His performances have seen many clubs register an interest but within minutes of making it clear I wanted him part of our future, the lad wanted to sign to stay with the Millers.”
