Alfie was the star as he netted his 8th of the season last Saturday, but after a quiet show against Bradford midweek he'll be looking to spark his partnership with Tom Pope into life at Bury tomorrow.
Alfie told todays Tiser: "I've always linked up well with Tom Pope. Unfortunately he got injured last season but when we played together, it has always worked well and we have a good partnership.
"The ball (against Chesterfield) was a little bit too far for my left foot but I just managed to get the outside of my right foot on it and loft the ball in," he said modestly.
"It was a training ground routine which paid off but we worked really hard and deserved the three points.
"I'm really enjoying my football at the moment, scoring goals and that's all I want to do. The aim is the top-three and we have to make sure we are up there at the end of the season."
