Kevin looks back at last weekends game; "The lads were giving Alfie some stick after the Bradford game, saying I was catching him up,"He just turned round and said 'you're only about ten behind me." Ellison told the Advertiser.
"I know the gaffer has said that if Alfie doesn't score it doesn't look like we're going to win, but I think that has changed. We still all need to chip in with a few more goals. defenders as well and if we take the pressure off him then he might come up with a few more. As for me, I'm hoping to get 13, 14 or more. As a left-sided midfielder, the manager always tells me it would be nice to get in double figures. I want to kick on and get more and hopefully Alfie will be looking over his shoulder."
"We know we haven't been up to standard. We've had a few bad results lately and the lads haven't been happy. The gaffer has given us stick and we've beaten ourselves up and I think that's why the run went on longer than it might, we were moping around and a bit down. We tried too hard and things didn't come off but we've taken three points at Bradford and it was a great win." he added
