I'm prepared for League 1 - Pollitt

Pollitt was the subject of a £200k offer from Nottingham Forest about 6 weeks ago which the Millers board rejected. But in recent weeks the big keeper has spoke of his desire to keep playing in the Championship.

But on last nights Football Heaven Pollitt spoke about commitment to Rotherham United even in League 1 should nobody come in for the 33 year old.

"I'm still contracted here for another year, I have no problem with that. Ideally I'd like to stay in this league (Championship). But if I have to play in the league below next year it's not a problem and I'll give my whole hearted commitment to the club again." Pollitt told Radio Sheffield
