Defender Greg Halford was taken off early doors after being caught;
“He has an ankle problem and he's gone over on it quite badly and they've taken him to hospital, It's his role and we've been working hard to try and get the best out of him and it is an unfortunate injury." Jacket said.
However after the game, Halford tweeted that nothing was broken.
Just got home. Can't believe nothing broke. Gotta say it was a fair challenge just follow through caught me #15 pic.twitter.com/xKrIVsPfhP

However, Goalkeeper Lee Camp was also subsituted; “It was a knee-to-knee and for Lee to come off it must have been quite bad. We hope he recovers quickly. " Kenny told the press.
“Joe Newell has come off with a problem with the top of his hamstring/lower glute, so all three substitutions today were injuries with two of them in the first half."
Add to that the impending suspension for striker Peter Odemwingie for seeing a straight red card in the 29th minute after elbowing Liam Cooper
"He's made contact first and my impression is that he hasn't set out, and isn't that type of player or lad at all, but he's put his arm up to protect himself and caught the centre-half, We can't really complain with the referee's interpretation of the incident."Jackett told BBC Radio Sheffield.
I was unlucky with the red card. We all normally jump with our hands up to protect each other and expected his to be up as well.

I didn't mean to but caught the player and accept the referee had no choice. Hope the boys get something out of the game. Ups and downs ⚽️🙁
