Investors contact club?

On the back of the news that the players and other staff at the club were in talks about a wage deferral, The Rotherham Star is also reporting that a couple of Rotherham buisnessmen - both Millers fans have been in contact with the club.

The Star is quoting that the men have put forward proposals and have received a favourable response.

A meeting is being planned for next week and for a number of people who own companies and who have expressed an interest in becoming involved.

The Star also reports that the potential investors plans centre on ensuring the stand project is finished completely.

It emerged at the Magna meeting that the stand would not be completed to its original spec due to a lack of money. Leaving it without the Hospitality and conferencing suites which were the main point of builing the stand for the new income streams.

No names have come out at present, but lets hope all comes good and more investors are found, while us the fans continue to do our very best in ensuring we still have some football to watch and support on a Saturday afternoon.
