Denis was then asked wether he had plenty of money; "I'm not sure, I hear he has. I do know hes got a lot of businesses around the world and property and I think he's quite big into hotels but as to a figure I can't help you on that one."

"He's asked me to help him with the administrator which I've been working closely with and getting things to help him through due dilligence, I believe hes talking about sending his people in early next week to finish that off. He's quite confident that he wants to take the club over."

Denis was asked about their intrest in Gretna, "He did go upto Gretna, when he first contacted me he told me he was going to Gretna, one of the people that he is in with is Roddy Colhe's coming as manager but thats not what I've been told. They told me to assure Mark Robins that they are happy with what he's been doing and his job's safe."

Asked wether the consortium had spoke to the players; "No I don't believe so, not that I know of." Denis answered.

"I think Marks done a terrific job and I would like to see Mark going forward with Rotherham, but if people come in they have thier own ideas and they'll do their own things and who knows. I wouldn't say it looks bleak for him, thats jumping to conclusions and thats what has been happening. The phone call that I got this morning off Anthony was, Look we're hearing that people are spreading rumours that Roddy might be involved here, I can assure you that I'm a businessman and I will look at everything, he then asked for Marks number."

When asked for a timescale on any takeover, Denis was hoping it would be done soon. "I certainly hope as soon as possible, Anthonys spoke to me several times in the last couple of days and he's hoping to fly over this weekend but does'nt think he can get for Saturdays game but is hoping to meet me for Rochdale. He wants to get things moving as fast as possible he said."
