Speaking to themillers.co.uk Warney said; "I think we've played significantly better in every single game but we said to the lads before the game that we can't keep going on about chances missed and what the league table 'should' look like if we did this and that.
"It was about getting the win tonight and we got that, so I'm really pleased.
"I think Wimbledon are a very good team, so I'm not disrespecting them.
"To win 3-0, keep a clean sheet and limit them to probably only one real chance is good. We still need to be more ruthless but a win is a win.
"Jamie Lindsay has come off with a hamstring injury which the physios are already looking at me like it isn't great - so that doesn't sound good."
Warne heaped praise on striker Michael Smith; “He gives so much even if he isn’t having the best time on the ball, He is scoring for fun at the minute so long may that continue. He has started the season really well.”
