ITM is hoping to get a new club soon if he's going to stay in the game, looking for a team near to his home in the north west.
Speaking to the Star today, the 34 year old admits that age is not on his side, although he still feels he can do a job.; “If nothing happens by the first week of August, I might have to call it a day." he said.
“If no one comes in for me before the season starts, I will have missed pre-season and I am nearly 35 so I would be playing catch up. I will have to wait and see what happens.”
“I think I have still got a lot to give, I think I can still play on for another two years quite easily. Given an injury-free run, I know I can hold my own in a team in League Two."
"When I played up front at Rotherham, I did well and I finished up with 12 goals last season so hopefully I will get a club sooner rather than later. The longer you are out of football, the harder it is to get back into it.” he added
